Wolpertinger

This, my friends, is a fierce example of the Wolpertinger, a fabled Bavarian creature that one can apparently find stuffed examples of in some regional pubs. There is some variation of physical traits within the species:

And how does this kind of thing come about?

It’s just nature doing what it does best…

More info on this fascinating animal at this website, which also explains a sensible way to catch one…

  1. Hey, I had just thought it came from this german book called the 13 and a half lives of captian bluebear. Its awesome. Its all german and ridiculous and epic and magical, and is somewhat Alice in wonderland esque and explains answers about learning. Apparently there was an animated movie made, but it was in german. The books really fun, in the tradition of the best young adult fictions. Hard to categorize.

Yeah, you should check it out.

  2. Its kind of like if shel silverstein wrote a fantasy novel.

    Yeah, sorta like that.
